Why just reside in the city when you can live at the lake?
Imagine sitting by the waters of pristine Kennebec Lake, taking in the tranquil beauty from your own piece of paradise. Life on the lake is an experience like none other. Kids experience the thrill of catching their first fish or learn to paddle a canoe. All ages enjoy seasonal family gatherings at the lake.
This is what memories are made of.
Kennebec Shores is an exceptional lakeside community that offers large, private building sites immersed in nature. It is located in the beautiful Land ‘O Lakes Region, conveniently between Toronto and Ottawa and just minutes from Highway 7.
There are 19 waterfront lots and eight interior lots to choose from. The community features a large area of public parkland with wooded hills and meadows on the site of a former cross-country ski resort. Waterfront lots all have at least 300 feet of accessible shoreline with a firm bottom and gentle slope ideal for swimming, and summertime sunsets over the water.
Despite its natural setting, Kennebec Shores owners enjoy four-season paved road access, hydro and telephone service, high speed internet, and all the conveniences of Perth and Kingston less than an hour away.

So who are the creators of Kennebec Shores?
Mark and Miriam Snider of Westport Ontario are the owners and creators of Kennebec Shores. Mark is a professional land use planner who has been helping shape new communities over his 26 year career. He got his feet wet in land development early, working alongside his father in establishing a lakeside subdivision north of Kingston in the 1980s. As a Planning consultant, Mark has been involved in numerous exciting development projects across eastern Ontario as designer and project manager. Prior to Kennebec Shores, Mark was part of the team that created Badour Farm Waterfront Community on Bobs Lake and Crow Lake about one hour north of Kingston. Badour Farm has been recognized as eastern Ontario’s premier lakeside development. A key aspect of the success of Badour Farm and Kennebec Shores alike is the environmentally responsible way in which these communities were designed and developed. Mark is a lifelong resident of cottage country and recognizes the importance of the health of these lakes to environmental integrity and local economic stability.
